Unparalleled precision: Medical devices, by their very nature, require complete adherence to design specifications – after all, medical devices often represent the difference between life and death. At MultiSource we routinely machine and manufacture parts so tiny they are hardly visible to the human eye. Tolerances of +/-.0001” (+/-.0025mm) are not uncommon in our shops.

Capabilities & Services
MultiSource’s machining and manufacturing capabilities are unlimited in terms of materials. While we routinely work with surgical grade stainless steel, titanium, aluminum, high-nickel alloys, and plastics, our facilities, tools, and employees are capable of machining almost any material you specify.
Our machining capabilities include vertical, horizontal, 4 & 5 axes, live turning, and Swiss machining. We are highly experienced in microscope deburring and laser engraving. We offer mechanical and electromechanical assembly, as well as CAD/CAM design and engineering.
We have the experience, equipment, procedures, and capabilities needed to meet the medical industry’s most stringent requirements of SPC, process validation, control plans, and product traceability. We use only top-of-the-line inspection equipment, including Zeiss CMMs with Vast scanning heads for accuracy (all of our Zeiss CMMs run the most current version of Calypso software), digital height gages, and digital bore gages. We regularly inspect parts at 150x magnification, and we are equipped for auto-magnification.
