As a customer-focused company, all our precision machining capabilities are put to providing the best service and the most reliable results. When you work with MultiSource Manufacturing, you can be sure you’ll receive the integrity of a true partner in precision machining.

For over 20 years, MultiSource has worked to grow and improve our manufacturing capabilities. Today, our network provides complete prototyping, manufacturing, and assembly for components in the medical, defense and aerospace, semiconductor, food and bakery, financial processing, and many other industries. Our core values as a precision machining company are built on the capabilities of our machining centers and our skilled CNC technicians. Our biggest advantages in the precision machining industry are our close-tolerance CNC technology, our team of expert engineers and technicians, and our leading CNC software.

Close-Tolerance CNC Machining

The MultiSource network utilizes a broad range of current precision-based CNC machining equipment, including several multi-axis machining centers. Our production floor is also continually updated, working in new products that increase our ability to meet fabrication standards and even stricter accuracy ranges. With our CNC lathes, mills, turning machines, and multi-tool centers, we can perform at some of the closest tolerances in any machining industry.

Our Team

Not only does our team of skilled engineers work to build a strong foundation with complete prototyping abilities, our machining technicians then manufacture an exacting product or assembly. With value-added services including grinding, gundrilling, broaching, welding, and wire EDM, technicians can provide any necessary final touches. Within our core values, quality assurance and quality control are both critical. Thanks to our team’s expert use of our Quality Management System technology, we are able to continually receive ISO and AS certifications.

CNC Software

Paired with our advanced machining equipment and the knowledgeable hands of our team, CNC software plays a critical role in our core capabilities as a precision machining company. With continual software updates at hand, we can operate with the newest abilities in our tool kit. Our CNC software systems mesh seamlessly with precision-based machine operations to guarantee exact results, no matter how complex or intricate a part or full assembly.

Why Stacking Technology is Today’s Most Important Type of Food Production Equipment

At Forpak we are dedicated to providing innovative food packaging solutions for the baked goods, meat, and pizza industries. For over 25 years, we’ve worked with OEMs and other customers to provide them the equipment they need, including custom designs that can be easily integrated into existing facilities.

Whether you need a high-powered conveyor system, a laning and sorting operation, or stacking equipment, Forpak can provide a unique, intelligent design meeting FDA and USDA standards for sanitation and food safety. While every operation in a packing facility is integral to the process, we believe that stacking technology is one of the most important types of food production equipment in production lines today.

Stacking systems work to count and stack products into vertical units that are then moved down the line smoothly and in compact portions. This operation is critical for a majority of food packaging techniques because it provides both exact inventory records and the compacting of multiple items into a single unit, streamlining the conveyor process and readying the product for packaging.

Forpak stackers models are ideal for packing frozen items such as meat patties and baked goods. Two of our most beneficial stackers for standard food packaging facilities are the GSS Stacker and GSII Servo Stacker.

GSS Stacker

This system stacks 100 pieces per minute and has built-in flexibility that allows it to handle most products within typical sizes and shapes. GSS Stackers reduce labor costs by 30%-50% and significantly reduce potential human contamination. These systems can operate with 1 to 10 lanes and are fabricated with food-grade stainless steel.

GSII Servo Stacker

This heavy-duty stacker can handle 80 pieces per minute of larger items like pizza crusts with similar flexibility to the GSS Stacker. It can be operated with 1 to 3 lanes and also reduces costs and contamination at the same levels of the GSS Stacker. The key component of the GGSI Servo Stacker is its Automated Interleaving option that allows the integration of cardboard or paper feeding. This eliminates the need for manual interleaving during this part of the packing process.

Additional Capabilities

All our stackers are manufactured with Allen-Bradley touch screen controls and have full wash down capabilities thanks to the NEMA 4X Watershed Enclosures. Our systems are NFS 3A Standardized for meat and poultry and meet BISSC Standards for Baking. Forpak stackers can be manufactured with CE compliance on request and every system utilizes Intralox modular belting. Thanks to our servo-controlled actuators, all our stackers provide smooth transitioning and stacking motion.

Stacking systems are one of the most important types of food production equipment because they improve labor costs for packaging facilities, protect workers from having to perform physically stressful tasks, and promote better global food safety.
